Coach Elvis believes soccer is more than a game — it’s a teacher of life. His philosophy centers on developing players who not only improve technically and tactically, but also grow as people through lessons in accountability, responsibility, work ethic, and teamwork. He strives to create an environment where players learn to compete, challenge themselves, and make those around them better, both on and off the field.
Playing Career:
Coach Elvis played for Amityville High School, where he was part of a League Championship, County Championship, and Long Island Championship team. His playing experience shaped his understanding of the game and laid the foundation for the passion and leadership he brings into his coaching today.
Coaching Career:
With over eight years of coaching experience, Coach Elvis continuously worked to grow player development at a more efficient rate. He began his coaching journey with Amityville Soccer Club, where he spent seven years guiding both boys and girls teams across multiple age groups(U7–U19). During that time, he worked to cultivate technical ability, tactical awareness, and a strong team culture. In June 2024, Coach Elvis began United Football Club and took on the role of Boys Travel Team Director at United FC, overseeing player development, team operations, and program growth across multiple age groups. He strives to shape the club’s competitive structure and maintaining a culture focused on long-term development and community impact. Beyond travel soccer, he also served as Director of the Copiague Youth League Intramural Program, where he managed player recruitment, curriculum design, and coaching education for grassroots players. At the scholastic level, Coach Elvis joined the Bay Shore High School soccer program, leading the Junior Varsity team for the 2025 season while assisting the Varsity squad during their 2025playoff run. The program’s success included Bay Shore’s first playoff victory since 2018, a significant achievement that reflected the collective effort and growth of the coaching staff and players.
Certifications:
Coach Elvis holds his U.S. Soccer Grassroots License and D License, and is currently working toward earning his C License to continue advancing his coaching education.
Goals for Players: Coach Amaya’s goal is to help every player reach their full potential — as athletes, teammates, and individuals. He believes in fostering a positive, challenging environment where players can enjoy the game, learn life lessons through soccer, and develop the confidence to succeed in all aspects of life.
Coach Erick’s philosophy is centered around creativity, discipline, and accountability. He believes players should have the freedom to express themselves on the field while maintaining structure and responsibility within the team. Known for his offensive-minded approach, he encourages dynamic, attacking soccer that challenges players to think critically, take risks, and play with confidence. His passion for the game comes from helping athletes grow not only in skill, but also in confidence, maturity, and love for the sport.
Playing Career:
As a player, Coach Erick was a member of the Amityville High School Varsity Soccer Team, contributing to the program’s historic 2012 playoff run—the first since 1986.
Coaching Career:
Coach Erick brings extensive experience across multiple levels of the game, having worked with grassroots, high school, and collegiate athletes. His coaching background includes positions with Copiague High School (Varsity and JV), with Next Level Soccer at the Vassar Ryder Cup, United FC, and Amityville SC. He has helped players develop technically, tactically, and mentally, emphasizing a balance between individual improvement and team chemistry. His coaching style focuses on creating programs that foster long-term player growth and consistent team success, while pushing athletes beyond their comfort zones to prepare them for higher levels of competition.

Holds a U.S. Soccer D License.

Coach Erick is dedicated to developing well-rounded, adaptable players who demonstrate confidence, discipline, and understanding of the game. He strives to help every player take ownership of their growth and compete with passion and respect—both on and off the pitch.
Coaching Philosophy:
Coach Gabby is dedicated to helping players reach their full potential both on and off the field. His coaching philosophy emphasizes patience, hard work, and continuous growth—not just in technical and tactical development, but in character and leadership as well. He believes that soccer mirrors life, teaching lessons about perseverance, teamwork, and self-belief. One of his guiding inspirations comes from Pelé’s words: “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love what you are doing, or learning to do.”
Playing Career:
Having played soccer since the age of three, Coach Gabby has developed a lifelong love and understanding of the game. During his college career, he helped lead John Jay College to a CUNYAC Conference Championship, earning a spot in the NCAA Division III Tournament. He also competed for Suffolk County Community College, where his team finished as runner-up in the Mid-Atlantic Conference Regional Championship and qualified for the NJCAA Division III Tournament. These experiences instilled in him the value of discipline, teamwork, and the drive to compete at the highest level.
Coaching Career:
Coach Gabby officially began his coaching journey in 2020, though his passion for mentoring young players began earlier, during his time with the Copiague Youth League Soccer Program in 2016. His early involvement in youth soccer helped him discover a love for teaching the game and inspiring the next generation of players. Since then, he has continued to dedicate himself to developing players of all ages, combining his competitive background with a thoughtful, player-centered approach to coaching.
Certifications:
Coach Gabby holds U.S. Soccer 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 coaching licenses, and is currently working toward his D License as he continues to advance his coaching education.

Above all, Coach Gabby strives to create an environment where players can learn, grow, and love the game. He encourages his athletes to view every practice and game as an opportunity for improvement—technically, mentally, and emotionally. His ultimate goal is to help players find joy in the process, express themselves freely on the field, and carry those same lessons into life beyond soccer.

Coach Jack believes in pushing every player to reach their full potential while fostering growth both on and off the field. His philosophy centers on hard work, development, and character, emphasizing not only improving soccer ability but also helping players mature as individuals. He strives to create an environment where athletes learn discipline, confidence, and team work through consistent effort and support.
Playing Career:
Coach Healy began his soccer journey with Amityville and Massapequa Soccer Clubs before becoming a standout at Kellenberg Memorial High School, where he was a three-year varsity starter, earning All-League honors and being named Team MVP. He continued his career at SUNY Plattsburgh, where he was a four-year starter and earned multiple recognitions, including Defensive Player of the Week, All-Tournament Team, and Second Team All-League selections.
Coaching Career:
After completing his collegiate career, Coach Jack gained experience coaching with the SUNY Plattsburgh men’s soccer program and has conducted private training sessions for players ranging from elementary to college level. His focus remains on developing players technically, tactically, and mentally to prepare them for the next stage of their soccer journey.
Goals for Players:
Coach Jack aims to help every player improve their skills at every practice while maintaining a fun and positive environment. He believes that the best development happens when players are enjoying the game, working hard, and pushing themselves in a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere.
Coaching Philosophy:
Coach Maynor believes in building a winning mentality through focus, discipline, and tactical flexibility. His philosophy centers on teaching players to understand and execute the game plan while demonstrating hard work, commitment, respect, humility, and leadership. He strives to instill habits that lead to both individual growth and team success.
Playing Career:
Coach Maynor developed his love for the game while playing throughout middle school, high school, and various teams across Long Island, gaining a strong foundation and appreciation for the sport’s competitive and cultural aspects.
Coaching Career:
With over two years of coaching experience, Coach Maynor began his career as a technical assistant at Amityville Middle School, where he discovered his passion for guiding young players. He has since coached multiple age groups at United FC, including U8, U10, U11, andU14 girls’ teams. Among his coaching achievements, one highlight includes leading the United FC U9 Girls to first place in the Long Island Classic Autumn Tournament in Islip, New York—a proud miles to early in his coaching journey.

Coach Maynor focuses on developing players with discipline, teamwork, preparation, and a winning mindset. His goal is to create an environment where every athlete learns to compete with purpose, play with confidence, and grow as both players and individuals.

Coach Esau is dedicated to developing confident, intelligent, and respectful players who truly love the game. His philosophy emphasizes building both skill and character, encouraging athletes to express themselves on the field while maintaining discipline and respect for teammates, coaches, and opponents alike.

:In his first year of coaching, Coach Esau quickly learned the importance of leadership and communication—developing the confidence to guide his teams effectively and motivate players to perform at their best. One of his most meaningful milestones came with earning his first victories with both teams, marking the start of a promising coaching journey focused on growth and development.

Coach Esau aims to help his players grow into responsible, driven young men who carry the lessons learned from soccer into every part of their lives. His ultimate goal is to instill character ,resilience, and the desire to pursue their ambitions—both on and off the field.
